| We are so excited to be getting married in Cancun!! If you didn't get an invitation don't fret. We know that a destination wedding is difficult for most people to attend, and we are going for a casual, fun, hassel-free wedding day - so we didn't send out formal invitations. We have tried to invited everyone in person, by e-mail, phone, or word of mouth. No invitations, no RSVP cards, no lists, no stress, no problems... at least that is the plan. If you haven't booked the trip yet but you want to attend, or if need more details PLEASE call Jason or Jennifer.
We are blessed to have so many loved ones who are going to be able to attend our special day. We have many loved ones who will not be able to be physically in Cancun with us, but we want everyone to know you will always be in our hearts. We promise to raise a margarita glass to all those who were unable to make the trip, so you will be spiratually celebrating our beach-side vows with us.
We welcome everyone to share with us in the magical experience as we begin the greatest adventure of our lives. We are so looking forward to uniting our lives in a wedding ceremony on the beach, and - even more - to becoming husband and wife, joined in wedded bliss!!
Thank you so much to everyone who is planning to attend our destination wedding ceremony. We are planning a fun, casual, relaxed, thrilling celebration of life and love.
Please check out our wedding website and enjoy our photo galleries.
We have put together a registry; we have listed some of the wonderful activities and items we want to enjoy on our honeymoon while scuba diving, sunbathing, snorkeling, jungle exploring, and beach loving in Cancun, Mexico!!
Thank you again for making our wedding a memorable, wonderful day, and - more importantly - for being a special part of our everyday lives. We love all of you and are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends. We cherish all of you. If you cannot come in June, please know that we will be bombarding you with a lot of pictures when we return.
| | We were set up. We taked for several weeks before going on our first real date. It was the end of the school year for me, and he was days away from becoming a Sergeant, so we had to wait a while before spending any time together.
On our first date I had to hug Jason twice because he is so handsome, and I didn't want him to see me blush. We talked the entire time, so much that all we ordered was drinks (much to the disappointment of our waiter).
Jason is the best partner, friend, and companion I could ever hope for. He swept me off my feet, and so on our sixth date I decided to sweep him off of his feet! I took him to Glenwood Springs for a summer weekend get away. I gave him a parachute, took him to the top of the mountain, and surprised him with paragliding. I knew that if he would literally jump off of a mountain with me on a moment's notice was the man of my dreams. We both jumped, and we both fell for each other!
Much adventure ensued. We went paragliding, whitewater rafting, ziplining, rockclimbing, hiking, and skydiving... and that was just our first summer together! Since then Waylon, Jason's handsome rescue dog, has adopted me as his new mommy, and we welcomed baby Jeter, our little daschund, into our family. We moved in and made our home together.
In November we jumped from the Longmont Jump Club from 1800 feet altitude, but once we were back on the ground, he took me even higher. We landed, walked around to find a quiet place, and he got down on one knee. The perfect man and the perfect proposal! Now we are planning our perfect wedding on the beach in Cancun!! More than all our thrill-seeking exploits, falling in love with Jason has been the most exciting adventure of my life. |
