Bride

After 5 ½ years of dating and with Timmy now almost 2 years old, I was pretty much nagging Tim weekly at this point to finally put a ring on it. I always thought it was coming (it didn’t) and when I actually stopped asking on an every other day basis and least expected it, BOOM!

It was a beautiful, rainy December morning when the Cleveland Browns express was taking off to Metlife Stadium to watch the Browns get beat by the equally sucky Jets. Along with family and friends (30 of us) we arrived at the tailgate and in no time everyone starts worrying about hanging up a “Let’s Go Browns” banner. It was a brown sheet with orange lettering and when I asked who made the banner, Mike (Tim’s dad) told me that Tim had made it. I thought to myself that it was extremely weird he would make some huge sign and I wouldn’t notice and he wouldn’t have told me about it – then Dan, widely known as DC came up and said he made it. Blah blah blah I didn’t really care who made it – pass me another Bud Light and let’s go watch the Jets drumline perform. So after Erin, Kim and myself (& others) watched the drumline perform and Mike Pelligrinelli dance around dressed as Santa Claus for about a half hour we walked back to the bus. It was an awkward vibe as we walked around our tailgate noticing my brother in law, Greg, shirtless bonding with some other random shirtless man (nothing out of the ordinary there) and everyone extra quiet. I noticed my father in law trying to take a picture of me and Kim so I stood there posing all awkward only to realize he was filming me. Tim then came over and told me to “look at the sign,” where I noticed he had folded it down and it said “Will you marry me?” The waterworks immediately started and as you all know I said yes! Erin came off of the bus and immediately started crying worse than I was when she realized nature had called at exactly the wrong time. It was so special to me to have our family and friends there and I wouldn’t have changed a thing about any of it! It was an amazing day that I will never forget. As you can see I still remember every little detail J I am still constantly staring at my beautiful ring. What impeccable taste that Tim has!
